Fresh, aromatic, and uniquely complex coffee grown by 65-year-old farmer Gobena Bendo in the iconic Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia.

Two distinct flavor profiles

This washed offering stands out with high aromatic intensity that transforms remarkably based on your brewing method.

  • Filter coffee: Light and juicy profile reminiscent of peach iced tea, rosehips, and plums with a walnut finish.

  • Espresso: Syrupy texture featuring rich notes of key lime pie, redcurrant, black tea, and cocoa.

Farmer story & Single Farmer Project

Mr. Gobena Bendo cultivates 10 hectares in Yirgacheffe, where coffee production supports his family and local community.

  • Direct traceability: Part of the Single Farmer Project, ensuring full transparency and direct premium payouts to the producer.

  • Highland terroir: Grown between 1,600 and 2,400 meters above sea level in lush, shade-grown coffee gardens.

Washing process & Heirloom varieties

The clean and bright cup profile highlights native Ethiopian heirloom cultivars.

  1. Depulped and fermented: Ripe cherries are depulped on the day of harvest, fermented in tanks for 8–12 hours, and washed in channels.

  2. Sun-dried on raised beds: The parchment coffee dries slowly on raised African beds for 5 to 15 days.
