Forest Fruit Punch

A rich, aromatic coffee with high sweetness and notes of forest fruits. Enjoy its full body, ripe fruit acidity, and juicy texture. The taste is dominated by notes of strawberries and blueberries, complemented by the sweetness of caramel and nougat. As a filter coffee, the fruity notes of plums, dark grapes, and chocolate-covered strawberries stand out, along with the taste of pralines. The espresso is dominated by the intense aroma and sweetness of mulberries, dark chocolate, and Brazil nuts.

Coffees from Asia are relatively rare in our offer, but when we do manage to find one, it's really worth it! This time, we have selected a coffee from Sumatra from the well-known Aceh region, which is renowned for its coffee production. Up to 80% of farms in this area are owned by women and 95% of local producers are smallholders.

Behind this coffee is farmer Asman Arianto, who runs the Asman Gayo Mill processing station, where our lot comes from. It is a blend of coffees from local farmers, consisting of traditional varieties processed using the dry method. After harvesting, the cherries are sorted to remove any damaged fruit and then immediately transferred to raised dryers, where they are dried for 30-40 days under constant supervision. Once the desired moisture content is reached, they are transferred to a dry mill, where they are stripped of their dry husks and parchment and, after quality control, prepared for export.

Thanks to the combination of natural processing and local varieties, some of which are so-called "hybrid" varieties (crosses between Arabica and Robusta), this coffee caught our attention with its complex flavor profile. Its high sweetness and full body blend beautifully with notes of forest fruits and pralines. This coffee really has a lot to offer, and we believe that even after several cups, you won't get tired of it!

Roasted coffee beans, 100% specialty coffee Arabica, roasted and packed in the Czech Republic.
